Therapeutic Consultation

Academic Answers provides therapeutic consultation to clients (typically parents) who seek information and direction for their child’s emotional, behavioral, psychological, and/or psychiatric well-being. Our consultants collaborate directly with clients and other professionals to determine the needs of each individual child. Once criteria for success has been established, our consultants can identify appropriate intervention or treatment options that specifically address the areas of concern.

These options can include:

     · Sub acute assessment programs

     · Chemical dependency programs

     · Residential treatment centers

     · Therapeutic wilderness programs

     · Therapeutic boarding schools

     · Independent living programs

     · Therapeutic group homes

Academic Answers’ expert therapeutic consultants facilitate a defined process that guides our clients to the most appropriate option, and empowers them with information. The client is always ultimately responsible for choosing the option that is the best fit for their family – with continual supportive consultation and guidance from an exemplary group of professionals.

Once a family makes an informed decision, our consultants provide ongoing private case management, monitoring all therapeutic progress. Additional recommendations are made whenever necessary.

Academic Answers’ highly trained consultants visit all facilities recommended to their clients regularly – which ensures that we maintain a solid understanding of program features, staff credentials, licensing, and current population. Our consultants do not accept or receive referral fees or any compensation from programs for recommending enrollment.
